Heinz Arzberger

Heinz Dieter Arzberger ( born August 27, 1972 in Wolfsberg ) is a retired Austrian football player at the position of goalkeeper. He is currently goalkeeping coach at the Red Bull offshoot FC sup ring.

Career as a player

Heinz Arzberger began his career in sports club in St. Michael 's Lavant Valley, a cadastral district of Wolfsberg and later moved to Wolf Berger AC. With the Kärntern he played in the 1990/91 season already in the 2nd Division, held at that time but only the position of the second goalie and had his team the league after one game year leave. Whether its good performance in the regional center, he was finally brought in the summer of 1994 to Graz where he made ​​his debut in the Austrian Bundesliga on 4 November 1995 under coach Ivica Osim. Arzberger but could not prevail against his opponent Roland Goriupp and was awarded to the second division to Gera village in 1997. In the fall of 1997, he joined together with Gera village coach Kurt Garger to local rivals St. Pölten. In the Lower Austrian capital he became the ones goalkeeper and made his performance even clubs from the first division 's attention.

In the autumn 2006 season Arzberger came under Jaras successors then only alternating with Ramazan Özcan amateur team of the club used. In the 2008 /09 season he graduated in the spring of 13 championship matches after first Timo Ochs and then Eddie Gustafsson turned out injured. At the beginning of the season 2009/10 he was the substitute goalkeeper Eddie Gustafsson for. In the game against the LASK Linz he replaced the badly injured Gustafsson and stood up to the end of the championship, which he won with the team, in the gate of FC Red Bull Salzburg. After this season Heinz ended his professional career goalkeeper and sits on the 2010/11 season as a substitute goalkeeper on the Juniors in the West Regional on the bench. Besides, he is now also goalie coach of youth department of the Association.
