Mario Martone
Mario Martone ( born November 20, 1959 in Naples ) is an Italian film and theater director, and screenwriter.
Life
Martone started at a young age, at 18, the theater group ' Nobili di Rosa ", was made in 1979, " Falso Movimento ", with the numerous pieces he performed. From 1980, he experimented with videos and put four years later his short film debut Nella città barocca ago. His feature film debut Morte di un Matematico napoletano Renato Caccioppoli was a success, which he confirmed as one of the most notable directors of his generation in the subsequent period. Again and again Martone busy between his films with documentary projects, theater productions and published books. From 1999 to 2001 he directed the Teatro Argentina in Rome.
In 2004 he filmed a novel L' odore di sangue by Goffredo Parise and six years later, the excellent among others, two of David and a Silver band film Noi credevamo. Overall martone films received so far 18 awards.
