Mark Gastineau

Marcus Dell Gastineau ( born November 20, 1956 in Ardmore, Oklahoma ) is a former American professional American football player who played from 1979 to 1988 for the New York Jets in the National Football League ( NFL).

He was considered one of the best players of his time. But by private excesses he was increasingly in the tabloids and ended his career in 1990 to 1991, a new start as a boxer who went to 1996. He fell several times with the law in conflict and eventually spent eleven months in prison Rikers Iceland, for which he was convicted of assault.
