Mark Manders

Mark Manders ( b. 1968 in Volkel ) is a Dutch artist.

Work

His priorities are installations, sculptures, drawings and short films. Typical of many works of Manders are artificial, imaginary spaces, which he describes as part of his self-portraits. He also uses arrays of objects, for example, arm bones, sugar piece, cup, dead animals, chimneys, walls, tables, chairs and floor lamp -like structures. In various installations rough, coarse clay human and animal sculptures fall on.

In addition, Mark Manders published together with the graphic designer Roger Willems in Amsterdam Art writings under the name: Roma Publications.

Since 1986, the sculptor Manders working on his work from sculptures and drawings he presents under the topic Self-Portrait as a Building.
