Mark McNulty

Mark McNulty ( born October 25, 1953 in Bindwa, Zimbabwe ) is a professional golfer who was one of the leading players on the European Tour from the mid 1980s to the mid 1990s.

Career

After a successful amateur career as a professional golfer McNulty began in the South African tournament series. From 1978, he recorded the European Tour and was first used in 1986 in the top 10 on the money list. Overall, he won 16 tournament victories there, including the major Volvo Masters 1996. His last victory on that tour was in 2001. Worldwide he has until 2002 additionally retracted 35 tournament victories.

With 50 years to become a senior golfer, he qualified for the U.S. Champions Tour from the 2004 season. Mc Nulty had a strong start, winning the first tournament in which he participated. It was followed by two more wins, one of them in the major Senior Tour Championship ( Charles Schwab Cup), and at the end of that season a 7th place in the money list. Two successes in 2005 earned him third place in the annual ranking and in 2007 increased his victory number in the Champions Tour in six previously.

McNulty took in 2003 to Irish citizenship, but currently resides in Sunningdale, an affluent borough west of London with prominent golf courses and top golfers such as Ernie Els and Nick Faldo in the neighborhood. He is married to his wife Alison since 1998 and has two children, Matthew (1985) and Catherine ( 1988).
