Mark Muller

Muller has studied law at the University of Geneva and won the patent attorney. 1988 to 1989 he was head of the legal department of a Geneva company and later worked from 1992 to 1993 as an employee in a financial institution. For ten years (1993-2003) he was then a lawyer in the General Secretariat of the Geneva Real Estate Board and then as a study partner at Costa Bella Pirkl.

His first political office was the local council mandate of Geneva in 1999. This office he held until 2001 and was then elected to the Grand Council. From 13 November 2005 to the end of February 2012, he was State Council of the Canton of Geneva. On 27 March 2012, after several scandals in particular a brawl with a bartender at New Year's Eve 2011, he announced his retirement for the end of month.
