Mark Prettenthaler

Mark Prettenthaler ( born April 11, 1983 in Graz) is an Austrian football player at the position of a defender. He currently plays for FC Traun in the regional center.

Career

Prettenthaler played in his youth ESV Austria Graz and FC Gratkorn and stood before his move to the second-class First League for Kapfenberg SV in the 2004/05 season at the Bundesliga ASKOE Traun under contract.

There, however, he was no championship use. After one and a half successful years at Kapfenberg Mark Prettenthaler signed in the 2006/07 season a contract with Sturm Graz. His first Bundesliga in Austria he succeeded in his first Bundesliga application on 23 July 2006, with a 4-1 defeat against Rapid Vienna. In this game, he came on in the 46th minute for Jürgen Säumel. After the season 2007/ 08 the Graz moved to Germany for FC Augsburg. He retired in October cruciate ligament injury. Up to this time he had only played one single game, as he played through the DFB Cup against SC Paderborn 07. On March 8, 2009, he finally played his first championship match for Augsburg and scored his first Bundesliga goal in Germany 's 1-1 draw against 1 FSV Mainz.

On 30 June 2009, the Graz changed again to SK Sturm Graz, where he signed a two -year contract.

On February 1, 2010 Prettenthaler signed a contract with Bundesliga club LASK Linz. On 12 May 2010 the LASK Linz was known, however, not to extend the contract of the Styrian for the upcoming season. Then joined the Graz within Upper Austria to SV Ried. At the end of the 2010/11 season he became the Austrian Cup winner.

On August 31, 2011 Kapfenberg SV announced a commitment by the defender. In June 2012, he signed a 2 year contract for the FC Traun.
