Mark Warner (film editor)

Roy Mark Warner ( born February 24, 1954) is an American editor.

Life

Mark Warner grew up in Los Angeles. Although his father was a sound engineer and Warner already had different assistive points in the film during his high school years, he became interested in psychology, and more for the engineering. It was only when he visited more a film course at the University by accident, he discovered his passion for film editing. After several internships he was Don Zimmerman at the two films Coming Home - you home and welcome Mr. sweep chance each staged by director Hal Ashby, assist in editing. Several years later, he was in 1982 with only 48 hours, and Rocky 3 - independently responsible Eye of the Tiger for the first time for a film editing.

In particular, the Australian director Bruce Beresford Warner a long-standing cooperation. So he cut for him not only Pancho Villa - Mexican outlaw, but also double murder, The Contract and Mao's Last Dancer. For the first joint project Miss Daisy Warner in 1990 honored with an Oscar nomination for Best Editing.
