Marko Podraščanin (Serbian: Марко Подрашчанин; born August 29, 1987 in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian volleyball player.

Career

Podraščanin began his career in 2004 in OK Vojvodina Novi Sad. With the club he won the 2005 and 2006 Serbian Cup and in 2007 the domestic double. On 16 June 2006 he made his debut in the Serbian national team. At the European Championships in 2007, the Serbs occupied with Podraščanin third. In the same year, the middle blocker joined the Italian league to Famigliulo Corigliano. In 2008 he reached the final of the national team World League. He participated in the Olympic tournament, which ended for Serbia in the quarterfinals. Then Podraščanin was obliged by league rivals Lube Macerata. With the new club, he won the 2009 Italian Cup. Also, Serbia was again in the final of the World League. At the World Cup in 2010 the national team came in third place. 2011 won Podraščanin Macerata with the Challenge Cup. In the same year he became European champion by defeating Italy and received while an individual award as the best blocker of the tournament. Macerata in 2012 was successful in the Italian championship.
