Markus Keller

Markus Keller (* April 21, 1967 ) is a Swiss triathlete who starts predominantly at the Olympic distance race (1.5 km swim, 40 km cycling and 10 km running).

Career

Markus Keller operates triathlon since 1989. He was from 1991 to 2000 member of the triathlon team launched in 2000 for Switzerland in Sydney at the Olympic Games, where he finished in 18th place. He is three times Swiss champion in the Olympic Distance and Duathlon Swiss champion.

His wife Jasmine Keller Hämmerle is a former Austrian triathlete and multiple national champion.

2009 Markus Keller applied for the post of chief performance sports at the Swiss Triathlon Federation Swiss Triathlon. Since 2012 he also starts in races on the middle distance.
