Markus Lanz

Markus Josef Lanz ( born March 16, 1969 in Brunico, Italy ) is a presenter and producer on German television. He is a native of South Tyrol with Italian citizenship. In 2012 he took over the moderation of the Saturday night show Wetten, dass., Which he is still moderate to December 13, 2014.

Life and work

Background and education

Lance comes from Geiselsberg in South Tyrol, a faction of the community Olang. As a high school student he lived in the dormitory of the Abbey of Neustift.
