Markus Windisch

Markus Windisch ( born May 12, 1984 in Bruneck ) is an Italian biathlete.

Markus Windisch began in 1996 with the sport of biathlon, his brother Dominik Windisch is active biathlete .. The Upper Rasener sports soldier from the CS Esercito is coached by Paolo Riva. Since 2001 he is part of the Italian national squad. This year he made his debut in the European Cup and was 28th in the sprint. At Home World Cup 2011 in Antholz South Tyrol reached Markus Windisch together with Lukas Hofer, Rene Laurent and Christian De Lorenzi Vuillermoz in the relay 2nd place and for the first time with an Italian Men Season the podium.
