Marlies Veldhuijzen van Zanten-Hyllner
Marie Louise Elisabeth Lydia van Zanten Veldhuijzen - Hyllner, in short: Marlies van Zanten Veldhuijzen ( born September 29, 1953 in Gothenburg ) is a Dutch politician and since October 2010, Secretary of State for Health, Welfare and Sport in the Cabinet Rutte is I. Life
Marlies van Zanten Veldhuijzen was born the daughter of a Dutch and a Swede in 1953 in Gothenburg, where she also lived for some time. At a young age she came to the Netherlands, where she studied medicine at the University of Amsterdam. Upon completion of the dissertation, she specialized in geriatrics and was established doctor, who worked closely with nursing homes. Political career
