Maromaku

Maromaku is a settlement in the Far North district in the Northland region of the North Island of New Zealand. It lies about 11 km south of Kawakawa, just south of State Highway 1 North Auckland railway line runs through the site.

Education

Maromaku has a primary school for grades 1-8 with a decile rating of 3 and in 2009, 47 students. After the school was closed in about 3 km south-east located Towai 2005, the children go to school from there in Makomaru
