Martin Tyler

Martin Tyler ( born 14 September 1945 in Chester ) is an English football commentator. He was elected as Premier League Commentator of the last decade. His voice is one of the most famous in English football. Tyler commented on Premier League games as well as European Cup and World Cup matches.

Playing career

Tyler played before his time as a commentator football for the University of East Anglia in Norwich from 1964-1968, during his sociology studies. After studying English was at the Corinthian Casuals from Tolworth in the English Amateur League Isthmian League operates. After Tyler took the job as a commentator at the London station LWT he played only in the national team " Commentators XI ".

Commentators career

After graduating at the University Tyler was involved in the English football bible Marshall Cavendish 's Book of Football.
