Martine Faure

Martine Faure ( born September 30, 1948 in Langon, Gironde ) is a French politician. She is the National Assembly since 2007 MPs.

Faure worked as a teacher from 1970 to 1979 and joined the Socialist Party (PS ) at. For this she reached the representatives in the council of Aillas. After she had succeeded at the community level the climb to the second mayor, she was then elected in 1998 to the General Council of the department of Gironde and its Vice President. This was followed by a successful candidate in the 2007 parliamentary elections, in which she moved about the ninth constituency of the Gironde in the National Assembly. While she was succeeded in the following elections in 2012 by her party colleague Gilles Savary as Members of the constituency, she went instead to the twelfth constituency of the department and was re-elected.
