Marvin J. Chomsky

Marvin J. Chomsky (* May 23, 1929 in New York City ) is an American film director and film producer.

Chomsky began his career in 1955 as an art director (equipment manager) and set decorator ( set decorator ), smoking among other things, in the western series Colts before he concentrated from 1962 to the Director - performing.

First, he directed various television series directed by, among others, such as Star Trek, Mission: Impossible take, and Mannix Gunsmoke.

From the 1970s, he directed various miniseries and feature films director, who gained fame.

Nine times Chomsky was nominated for an Emmy, four times he received the " Television Academy " for the Holocaust, Attica, Inside The Third Reich and Peter the Great.

Since 1995, Chomsky is no longer active.
