Mary's Child
Marie child is a fairy tale (ATU 710). It is in the Children's and Household Tales of the Brothers Grimm in third place (KHM 3).
Content
A poor woodcutter who can not feed his child, met the Virgin Mary, who takes it and provides rich in heaven. When it is 14, Maria makes a journey and leaves 13 key there, one of which is prohibited. The girl is using every day and one rejoices with the angels of the twelve apostles. Then it opens only the 13th door, sees the Trinity and touched the splendor, of which the finger is golden. Maria sees this and it is contrary to the earth, because it does not admit the violation. It lives miserably in the wilderness in a tree. A king is on the hunt and marries the dumb. She gets three children, Maria takes away her. People mistake her for a man-eater and urge the king to let them burn. On the pyre she admits, the rain extinguish the flames, and Mary gives her the children and happiness for life.
Grimm's Note

Interpretation
Bruno Bettelheim's theory is that the voice with which we lie, lead us to ruin, and am taken better - tell the truth but revenue. Eugen Drewermann finds Marie child in the education of many children with post-war guilt by spoiling again. Wilhelm Salber sees the irrepressible desire for all- Have, which is retained against the reality forced under restrictions as a mystery, which leads to isolation.
