Mase

Mase (real name Mason Betha, born August 27, 1977 in Jacksonville, Florida, USA) is an American rapper.

Life

After his childhood in a sheltered home and going through high school, he wanted to primarily devote his music. He seized the opportunity in a hip-hop club in Atlanta, where he showed a sample of his skills P. Diddy. This took him immediately for his label BadBoyEntertainment under contract. After several collaborations with established artists (such B.The Notorious BIG, P. Diddy and Brandy ) launched BadBoyEntertainment 1997, his debut album, Harlem World. On this album came on, inter alia, artists such as DMX and Jay -Z. The album went triple platinum. 1999 was followed by the album Double Up, on which, like its predecessor, several other artists had guest appearances.

Subsequently, Mase moved to the public back surprisingly and founded as Mason Betha his own parish. For his service he received an honorary doctorate of theology awarded.

In 2004, he came back with a new album Welcome Back.
