Massimo Volta

Massimo Volta ( born May 14, 1987 in Desenzano ) is an Italian football player.

Career

Volta first played at Carpenedolo Berretti and AC Carpenedolo before he moved to Sampdoria in 2007. Volta was conferred thereupon, first at Vicenza Calcio in the Serie B. The following year, he played for AC Cesena. Only in the 2010/11 season he played a major role in Genoa. For one, he played both UEFA Champions League qualifiers against SV Werder Bremen in which Genoa retired scarce. On the other hand, he played six times in the UEFA Europa League. He rose with Genoa in the same season from Serie A from, but could ascend directly to the Serie A again in the following season. For the 2012/13 season he was loaned to Spanish side Levante UD.
