River Matarraña Valderrobres

The River Matarraña ( Catalan: Matarranya ) is a right-side tributary of the Ebro in the northeast of Spain. Its catchment area covers an area of 1250 km ².

Geography

The Matarraña rises in the mountains of Puerto de Beceite, flows through the towns of Valderrobres and Mazaleón ( province of Teruel ), in the province of Zaragoza occurs below Mazaleón, touched in this Maella and Fabara and finally Nonaspe where the Riu d' Algars flows, the in its upper reaches the border between Aragon and Catalonia forms.
