Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn BDSeh 4/8

The BDSeh 4/8 are panoramic narrow - articulated railcars to handle the commuting between the car-free Zermatt and car parking in Tasch. They are the first locomotives, which were provided by the new Matterhorn -Gotthard -Bahn service in 2003.

Technology

The originating from the GTW - family railcars consist of a panoramic medium cars, houses the four engines and two control car with low-floor entrances to allow the transport of baggage carts, of which fit 40 pieces in the railcars. The BDSeh 4/8 can drive in double traction, which allows adaptation to the capacity needs thanks to a centralized automatic clutch ( Schwab ). Inside the vehicle there is air conditioning and screens to view information.
