Mattias Nylund

Mattias Nylund (born 23 September 1980 in Sundsvall ) is a Swedish football player.

Career

Nylund began playing football at Söråkers IF. About IFK Timrå he came to the youth department of GIF Sundsvall. There he made ​​his debut in the first team. In 1999 he moved on loan to SV Ried to Austria, but returned after a season back to Sweden. In 2002 he moved to AIK Solna. There, however, he was only eleven minutes operating time, so he changed the end of the season again to GIF. In 2006 he moved to Norway to Aalesunds FK in the Adecco Ligaen. As in second promotion to the Tippeligaen. After the 2007 season, he left Norway and returned to Sweden, where he wanted to try his luck in Trelleborg FF. Internationally

Nylund played on 26 January 2005 a 0-0 draw against Mexico to be so far the only match for Sweden.

As coach

In December 2011, Nylund was, in addition to his active football career, coach of the U -17 team of GIF Sundsvall.
