Matungao, Lanao del Norte

Matungao (Filipino: Bayan ng Matungao ) is a Philippine municipality in the province of Lanao del Norte, Administrative Region X, Northern Mindanao. It has 12,217 inhabitants ( census of 1 May 2010 ) living in 12 barangays. It is classified as a community of the fifth income class in the Philippines and as a village.

Matungao is located in the inland of the province, about 18 km southwest of Iligan City and is accessible via the coastal road. Your neighboring municipalities are Poona Piagapo in the West, Linamon in the north, Baloi in the east, Pantao Ragat in the south.
