Maurice John Dingman

Maurice John Dingman ( born January 20, 1914 in West Point, Iowa, USA, † February 1, 1992 ) was Bishop of Des Moines.

Life

Maurice John Dingman received on 8 December 1939, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On April 2, 1968, Pope Paul VI appointed him. Bishop of Des Moines. The Apostolic Delegate in the United States, Archbishop Luigi Raimondi, donated to him on 19 June of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Bishop Emeritus of Davenport, Ralph Leo Hayes, and the Bishop of Davenport, Gerald Francis O'Keefe. The inauguration took place on 7 July 1968.

On October 14, 1986 Maurice John Dingman resigned as Bishop of Des Moines.
