Maurice Ronet
Maurice Ronet ( born April 13, 1927 in Nice, † March 14, 1983 in Paris, actually Maurice Robinet ) was a French actor and film director.
Life
Ronet comes from a family of actors. He studied at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique in Paris, where he was a pupil of Jean -Louis Barrault. In 1947, he made his stage debut in Paris. In the 50s and 60s turned Ronet, inter alia, directed by Louis Malle and Claude Chabrol. Outstanding is his portrait of a suicide in Malle's film The Wisp (1963). He had several times Romy Schneider, Jean Seberg, Marina Vlady and Brigitte Bardot as partners, three films he turned to the side of Alain Delon.
In 1965, he turned in Barcelona with Le Voleur you Tibidabo a film as writer, director and star. His most famous film was directed by Bartleby (1977).
In addition to his work in film Ronet studied music and philosophy. Ronet was married twice. From 1950 to 1956 Maria Pacôme and from 1977 until his death from cancer with the recent Chaplin Josephine Chaplin 's daughter, the mother of his son.
