Maurice Ronet

Maurice Ronet ( born April 13, 1927 in Nice, † March 14, 1983 in Paris, actually Maurice Robinet ) was a French actor and film director.

Life

Ronet comes from a family of actors. He studied at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique in Paris, where he was a pupil of Jean -Louis Barrault. In 1947, he made ​​his stage debut in Paris. In the 50s and 60s turned Ronet, inter alia, directed by Louis Malle and Claude Chabrol. Outstanding is his portrait of a suicide in Malle's film The Wisp (1963).
