Maximilian Arnold

Maximilian Arnold (born 27 May 1994 Riesa ) is a German football player.

Career

Clubs

Arnold began in 2000 when BSV Strehla playing football and moving in 2003 to the SC Riesa and 2006 in the youth division Dynamo Dresden. When it came to the inclusion in the sports school of Dynamo Dresden in 2006, he was not allowed to participate in the admission test. But a coach from Groeditz and a responsible Dresdner campaigned for him and he was allowed to go but at age twelve to Dresden.

He moved in 2009 to VfL Wolfsburg. Here he was first inserted into the U-17 and U-19 Bundesliga Bundesliga. With the U-19 VfL Wolfsburg he was A- 2011 German youth champion. In the 2011/12 season brought him to the pros Felix Magath of VfL. On 26 November 2011, he played 17 years, 5 months and 30 days his first Bundesliga match. In the game of the 14th match day at FC Augsburg he came on in the 86th minute for Makoto Hasebe. He is the youngest debutant in Bundesliga history of VfL Wolfsburg. On April 13, 2013 Arnold scored in the 2-2 draw against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim his first Bundesliga goal. He is also the youngest scorer in the club 's history. In the following match against Werder Bremen he succeeded his second Bundesliga goal. He was also the second time after 2011 German A- Youth Champion.

Before the season 2013/14 Arnold extended his contract until 30 June 2017. On the first day of the season Arnold slipped in for the indisposed Ivan Perisic in the starting lineup, but was placed in the 32th minute with a red card from the square. Arnold is the youngest Rotsünder the club's history.

National

Arnold was appointed after several courses at the DFB for the first time in May 2010 to two international matches of the German U-16 national team in Denmark. He recommended in the countries playing in a team of players from the wider circle for the root formation of the vintage 1994. Following year he took part with the German U- 17 team to two high-profile tournaments, as well as qualifying for the U-17 European Championship. For the European Championship in May 2011 and the U- 17 World Cup in July 2011, he was on call.

For the U-20 national team, he played for the first time on September 6, 2013 as part of an "international round " (with Italy, Poland and Switzerland ), the selection of Poland 2-0 defeated in Pfullendorf. Arnold was officially introduced to the 1-0 lead. On November 19, 2013 he made his debut in a 2-2 draw against Romania for the U-21 national team.
