Kevin De Bruyne [ kɛvɪn də brœynə ] ( born June 28, 1991 Drongen ) is a Belgian football player who is under contract with German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg since January 2014.
Career
Association
KRC Genk (2005-2012)
De Bruyne began playing football in his native KVV Drongen. At the age of seven he moved to the youth of KAA Gent. In 2005, he joined the junior section of KRC Genk in the first team, he made the jump to the 2008/09 season.
His debut in the Jupiler Pro League he was on 9 May 2009 ( 33 Matchday) in a 0-3 defeat against Sporting Charleroi, when he came on in the 81st minute for Ederson TOMERA. Also on the final day of the season against RSC Anderlecht it was used. His team won in the same season with a 2-0 in the final against KV Mechelen the Belgian Cup.
On August 20 and 27, 2009 De Bruyne came into the play-off for the Europa League in the two games against OSC Lille at its first international operations at club level. In the 2009/10 season, he completed 26 league games in which he scored with a shot from distance to make it 1-0 on 7 February 2010 ( 25th Round ) against Standard Liege his first league goal. In the course of the season he came to nine other inserts ( two goals) in the newly introduced Playoffs Jupiler Pro League and two appearances in the national cup competition.
In July / August 2010, Offensive allrounder starred in the third qualifying round of the Europa League against Inter Turku in Finland and in the two playoff games with against FC Porto. In the 5-1 win over Turku he met once, against Porto, his team was defeated but with 0:3 and 2:4, and thus missed the part in the main round. In the first three league games of the season 2010/11 he scored three more hits, and aroused the interest of many clubs. However, De Bruyne Genk and stayed in at the end of the regular season, he qualified with his team in second place behind the RSC Anderlecht for the championship playoffs. It was used in 22 games in which he scored four goals. In the playoffs, he played in all ten games (one goal ) and Genk was a 1-1 draw in the decisive final match against the same number of points Standard Liege Belgian champion.
In qualifying for the UEFA Champions League 2011/12 Genk sat against FK Partizan Belgrade and Maccabi Haifa through - in the 3rd round against Belgrade came De Bruyne in both games to use - and qualified for the second time in club history for the group phase. On September 28, 2011 De Bruyne made his debut against Bayer 04 Leverkusen in European Champions League. At 5-4 victory in the league match against FC Bruges 29 October 2011 he carried three times in the scoresheet. In total, he scored in the 2011/12 season in 22 games with eight goals and was his team's fifth table. In the playoffs, in which De Bruyne was used six times, Genk finished third.
Chelsea and Borrow (2012-2014)
During the winter break of the season 2011/12 De Bruyne signed a deal with English football club Chelsea FC, to which he moved formally in February 2012. The second half of the season, he played on loan at Genk but to an end.
For the 2012/13 season he was loaned for a year at the Bundesliga club Werder Bremen. His first league game he played on 24 August 2012 (1st Round ) against Borussia Dortmund. He became a regular player and played 33 games in which he scored ten goals. At the end of the season, the Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund and Bayer 04 Leverkusen showed interest in signing or lending De Bruynes. Coach Jose Mourinho made it clear that the player will accrue in the 2013/14 season for Chelsea.
VfL Wolfsburg (since 2014)
After De Bruyne in London rarely came to the course, he joined in January 2014 from Chelsea to VfL Wolfsburg and there wrote a contract until 2019., The transfer fee is estimated at 22 million euros.
National
De Bruyne played for the U-18, U-19 and U -21 in Belgium. In a total of 19 games, he scored two goals.
For the match against Bulgaria on 19 May 2010 he was first appointed to the cadre of the senior team, but did not play. On 11 August 2010 he made his debut in Turku in the 0-1 defeat against Finland.
