Medium Transport Helicopter Regiment 25
The Medium Transport Helicopter Regiment 25 " Upper Swabia " was a 1971 -positioned regiment of the army. Home airfield of the regiment was the Heeresflugplatz Laupheim in the local Kurt -Georg Kiesinger Barracks in Upper Swabia. 1994 was awarded the honorary title of Upper Swabia for his services. On 23 July 2008, the council of the district of Biberach decided to take over the sponsorship of the regiment. At the site there was also the Army 's Support Season 10

Symbolism of the Association badge
The faithful Pegasus above, a winged mythical creature from Greek mythology, was the child of the sea god Poseidon and the Gorgon Medusa and the sky blue color symbolize at the top of the air medium in which the regiment moves. History
1964 new military installations were built on the site of the former Luftwaffe airfield, which were intended to accommodate helicopters the Army.
