Mega Mindy
Mega Mindy is a Belgian television series for children. It is produced by Studio 100 and had its premiere on 24 October 2006 at Ketnet. The following year, the series ran for the first time at the Dutch TROS, there are now also synchronized versions in French (seen at the club RTL) and Italian. 2013, it was announced that the transmitter has no interest in new episodes of the series. Thus, the final season was 2013 gedreh, however, there remain concerts and various appearance of Mega Mindy.
Action
Mieke Fonkel is a professional police officer. She works together with Toby headed by Commissioner Migrain ( first Emiel Migarin, later Kamiel Migrain ). Mieke has a style secret alter ego, the superhero Mega Mindy.
Mieke has nothing to say at the police station, she also tells Toby not think she 's in love with him. This, however, is in love with Mega Mindy, what Mieke frustrated. Mieke lives with her grandparents. Grandma runs a candy store, Grandpa is a professional inventor. However, the latter is known only Mieke and grandma. His greatest invention is a machine with which Mieke if there is a crime in Mega Mindy can transform. The fact is that Commissioner Migrain is not very smart, Mieke is on the other hand quickly on the spot. On 10 July 2007, died Sjarel Blanck Aerts, who plays Commissioner Emiel Migrain. He was devoted to the first episode of the third season. In that episode Emiels brother Kamiel Migrain ( Anton Cogen ) had his debut as the new Commissioner.

Merchandising and offshoots
From Mega Mindy more merchandise, including comics, read books and games already appeared.
Souffriau sang several songs for the series, among other things, also the title song Ik Ben Mega Mindy. Another song, Mega Mindy tijd, finished in the fall of 2007 for a total of four weeks at No. 1 of the Flemish singles chart. There are four singles and two albums released to date.
The end of 2008 came with Mega Mindy en de Schitterende Emerald the first play, followed in 2010 Mega Mindy en de poppenmeester. A third play is already planned.
On 1 July 2009 Het van Mega Mindy secretly celebrated the first movie premiere. In this Toby turns for the first time in Mega Toby, as is the antagonist Miss Volta transformed into Mega Volta. Played by Yolanthe Cabau van will Kasbergen, wife of football player Wesley Sneijder.
A short time later, a second film was announced, but had to be interrupted the filming of which, as Free Souffriau was pregnant. During this time, the first time a TV movie Mega Toby was filmed and aired in spring 2010. The premiere of the movie Mega Mindy en het Zwarte Kristal was followed on 16 December 2010. Urbanus plays here the role of the Sultan van Zahambra, also is made of Mega Mindy a bad copy (also played by Free Souffriau ). It is the first studio 100 production, was filmed for the shots outside the Benelux countries, namely in Almería, Spain and in the nearby Tabernas Desert.
On December 21, 2011 came with Mega Mindy en de Snoepbaron the third Mega Mindy movie in the cinema. Johny Voners plays the title role of the "Sweet barons ", Louis de Snoepbaron. Mieke's grandmother turns there also in a super heroine in Mega grandma.
The transmitter Ketnet stated in 2013 that produced more after the hazy no new seasons. However, the figure Mega Mindy initially remains still exist and will continue to give concerts.
