Mehdi Abeid

Mehdi Abeid (* 6 August 1992 in Montreuil ) is a French- Algerian football player who currently plays for Panathinaikos Athens.

Career

Mehdi Abeid whose parents are from Algeria, was born in the French Montreuil. From the age of 11 he played a total of eight years in the youth of RC Lens, last in the second team. In May 2011, Abeid signed a contract until 2016 with the English first division club Newcastle United. His debut in the first team the Magpies he should be in the 4th round of the English League Cup 2011/12 against Nottingham Forest. Midfielder Alan Pardew has not been used so that it was awarded in January 2013 to end of the season FC St. Johnstone to Scotland in the league.
