Mehmet Çoğum

Mehmet Cogum ( born February 5, 1983 in İskenderun ) is a Turkish footballer who plays for Karşıyaka SK.

Career

Club career

Cogum began his football career at İskenderun Esenspor. In February 1999, he was nominated here for the Turkish U-15 national youth team and then played in the national players play in front of a larger number of talent hunters. He fell to the Scouts of Çanakkale Dardanelspor. A short time later, he wrote with Dardanelspor a professional contract. He played two years almost exclusively for the youth and reserve team. After the winter break 2000/ 01 he took part in the training camps of the pros and was subsequently involved in the professional squad.
