Meiereibach (Mühlenau)

The dairy Bach occurs south of the road to Birkengrund light again

The dairy Bach is a left tributary of the Mühlenau ( Stegau ) in the heath - Itzehoer Geest in the district of Steinburg, Schleswig -Holstein.

The creek originates northeast of the community Schenefeld and then flows towards the southwest, the local development. The Holsten road passes under the creek to over 100 m piped, then flows through a building located within the local area to the south and then crossed again to about 150 m piped several residential plots. South of the road to Birkengrund enters the stream surface again and then flows into the meadow valley to the southwest, and finally on the edge of town development to the south. In the southwest of the community of the creek turns to the west and finally flows at the border to the municipality Hadenfeld in the Mühlenau.

Due to lack of retention areas, it comes after heavy rains floods again and again by water of dairy Bach. By renaturation this problem is to be solved.
