Melanie Paxson

Melanie Paxson ( born September 26, 1972 as Melanie Deanne Moore in Champaign, Illinois ) is an American actress.

Biography

It was outside of Champaign, in the village of Mahomet, Illinois, was born. She is the middle daughter of Gay and Randy Moore. After her schooling in the Mahomet - Seymour High School in Mahomet, she left her hometown to study at the University of Missouri. Since then she has been a member of the sorority Pi Beta Phi. She finished her studies in 1994 with a degree in theater actress.

After studying Melanie Paxson took in the Second City Training Center in Chicago theater classes before she worked in the years 1998 and 1999 at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company. In this Tony Award -winning theater, she played in the pieces with The Playboy of the Western World and Morningstar. She stepped back then, however, still under her real name Melanie Moore.

Her first major film role was in 2000 as Wendy in Ready to Rumble with David Arquette, Scott Caan, and Oliver Platt. Paxson was in several television shows and series like Drew Carey Show, Rob Thomas ' Cupid - to see into the heart and Pyramid centers. She also starred in two episodes of Friends offshoot Joey, of which only one was aired. She had with John Larroquette and Christine Baranski starred in the NBC series Happy Family. Paxson portrayed the actress Joyce DeWitt in the TV special about the series Three's Company Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Three's Company (2003 ), which was co-produced by DeWitt. She also had a starring role in the ABC sitcom Pretty pregnant.
