Melchior Wezel

Melchior Wezel (* November 16, 1903, † unknown) was a Swiss gymnast. He won at the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928 along with the rest of the Swiss team the team around competition in gymnastics. For the individual disciplines he took the horse and the parallel bars with two 7th places per an Olympic diploma, overall he was in the overall ranking twelfth. At the World Championships 1934 in Budapest, he won the team competition also gold.

Wezel comes as his teammate and Swiss Rekordolympionike Georges Kitty from TV Töss.
