Melekeok

The part of the state Melekeok the Western Pacific island republic of Palau is located in the central -east of the main island Babelthuap. This is also the same palauische capital Melekeok (city).

The from the villages ( hamlets ) Melkeok Hamlet, Ngerburch, Ngerang, Ngermelech, Ngerubesang, Ngeruliang and Ngerulmud existing 28 km ² large part of the state is bordered to the west by Ngaremlengui, on the north by Ngiwal and on the south by Ngchesar. Largest city is the administrative headquarters Melekeok, formerly Ukaeb said. The entire administrative area had according to the census of 2005 391 inhabitants.

In the north of the administrative area Melekeok, near the border with Ngiwal, is the Ngardok Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake in Micronesia.
