Melora Hardin

Melora Hardin ( born June 29, 1967 in Houston, Texas as Melora Diane Hardin ) is an American actress.

Life and achievements

Melora Hardin is the daughter of actor Jerry Hardin. She made her debut at the end of the 1970s in the television series such as Thunder and The Cliffwood Avenue Kids. For his role in the television series The Family Tree from 1983, she was nominated in 1984 for the Young Artist Award. For his role in the series Two Marriages (1983 ) she won the 1985 Young Artist Award. For his role in the film drama Papa Was a Preacher it was in 1987 nominated for the Young Artist Award. In 1988, she played the role of Baby Houseman alongside Patrick Cassidy in the movie Dirty Dancing -inspired eponymous television series.

In the comedy Soul Man Hardin played the role of student Whitney Dunbar that their colleagues Mark Watson (C. Thomas Howell ) tries to seduce. In the comedy Robin Hood Junior, she took a starring role. In the thriller Absolute Power, she played the role of Christy Sullivan, to rape the U.S. President Allen Richmond ( Gene Hackman ) tries and is then shot by his security agents. In the horror comedy in the hereafter there are rooms free she appeared alongside Steve Guttenberg and Kirsten Dunst.

From 2004 to 2009 she played a small supporting role in the television series Monk, where she played the role of Trudy Monk's deceased wife. From 2005 to 2013 they played the role Ján Levinson in the television series The Office.

Hardin is married to actor Gildart Jackson since 1997 and has two children.
