Mermaid Melody - Pichi Pichi Pitch! (Japaneseぴちぴち ピッチ, Pichi Pichi Pitchi ) is a completed manga series Michiko Yokote the author and illustrator Pink Hanamori, which was also implemented as an anime series. She is assigned to the shōjo - genus and the Magical Girl Genre.

Action

Every mermaid princess is born with a pearl in the color of their fin. In this pearl is her pure voice, without which the mermaid can only terrible or not sing. Pichi Pichi Pitch Mermaid Melody was released in Japan from 2002 to 2005 in separate chapters in the manga magazine Nakayoshi of the Kodansha publishing house. These individual chapters were also summarized in seven anthologies. In German the series of June 2005 is fully published until February 2006 when Heyne Verlag. Del Rey brought out an English, Kurokawa a French translation.

Anime series

The manga was from the studios Actas and Synergy Japan as anime series Mermaid Melody: Pichi Pichi Pitch implemented with two seasons and a total of 91 episodes. Directed by Yoshitaka Fujimoto and the character design designed Kazuaki Makida. The screenplay was written by Michiko Yokote. When Japanese broadcaster TV Aichi, the series was broadcast on 5 April 2003 to 25 December 2004. The second season was entitled Mermaid Melody: Pichi Pichi Pitch Pure.

The anime was translated into English, Korean, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Tagalog, and into Chinese.
