Merytre-Hatshepsut

Meritre Hatshepsut ( also merit- Re Hatshepsut Hatshepsut or Merit - Re) was an ancient Egyptian queen in the New Kingdom (18th Dynasty).

Family

Historical evidence

Meritre Hatshepsut is known by numerous monuments. So it is in the temple of Tuthmosis III. mapped and there is a queen next to the seated Thutmose III. Your here backed title is " Great Royal Wife". The grave of Re at Thebes has a representation of Hatshepsut Meritre that it shows next to her son Amenhotep II.

Grave

The burial Meritre Hatshepsut is not clearly documented. It is believed that it was originally to be buried in grave KV42. However, this was not completed for her funeral, were here instead of the treasurer Sennefer, his wife Senetnai and Baket -Re, the royal adored, buried. Meritre Hatshepsut was probably buried next to her son Amenhotep II in the grave KV35.
