Michael Dudikoff

Michael Joseph Stephen Dudikoff ( born October 8, 1954 in Redondo Beach, California) is an American actor.

Life

Dudikoff, son of a Russian balalaika virtuoso, studied child psychology at the Harbor College. He started his career as a model, but as to him in 1978 offered a supporting role in the television series Dallas, he focused more on the movie business. He could still be seen in the television series Happy Days, before he received in 1980 his first film role in the movie The Black Marble. Finally His breakthrough came when Cannon Films in the lead role of the individual fighter Joe Armstrong in the action movie American Ninja as well as in the sequels American Fighter II - The mission and American Ninja 4 - The destruction ( in part 4 but only as a guest appearance ). In Air America he starred alongside Mel Gibson and Robert Downey Jr. a minor role. He subsequently worked with mainly in low- budget productions like Radioactive Dreams, Platoon Leader and Soldier Boyz, which received its name in show business alive. The television series Cobra, with Dudikoff in the title role, was canceled after one season in 1993. He frequently turned to the director Fred Olen Ray.

Michael Dudikoff is the father of a daughter, but who lives with the estranged mother and a son. He speaks some Russian.
