Michael Joseph Crane

Michael Joseph Crane ( born September 8, 1863 in Ashland, Pennsylvania, USA, † December 26, 1928 ) was Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia.

Life

Michael Joseph Crane received on 15 June 1889, The sacrament of Holy Orders.

On August 20, 1921 Pope Benedict XV appointed him. Titular Bishop of Curium and auxiliary bishop in Philadelphia. The archbishop of Philadelphia, Denis Joseph Cardinal Dougherty, donated to him on 19 September of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Trenton, Thomas Joseph Walsh, and the Bishop of Altoona, John Joseph McCort.
