Michal Leszczylowski

Michal Leszczylowski ( born July 30, 1950 in Łódź, Poland) is a Polish cutter and high school teachers, however, who has worked exclusively in the Swedish film.

Life

After studying at the Dramatiska Institutet in Stockholm from 1976 to 1978 it took several years before Michal Leszczylowski could make as Cutter independently. The first section almost independent of him was on the side of Soviet director Andrei Tarkovsky Arsenjewitsch, who completed his last film with victim before he died in December of the same year 1986. Leszczylowski it was then also, on behalf of the Swedish Film Institute on Tarkovsky documentation Director: Andrei Tarkovsky created.

Since then Leszczylowski spent almost his entire career in Sweden and cut films like Jalla! Jalla! Whoever comes too late ..., cop and Back to Dalarna. Also, besides the film, he stayed in Sweden and has been teaching for several years as a professor at the Stockholm Dramatiska högskola.

He currently lives in Ljusterö and is a member of föreningen sveriges filmklippare, the Swedish Association for film editors.
