Michał Winiarski

Michał Winiarski ( born September 28, 1983 in Bydgoszcz ) is a Polish volleyball player.

Career

Winiarski began his career in the hometown Chemists in Bydgoszcz. He then played for SMS PZPS Spała before he came to AZS Częstochowa 2002. In 2003 he was World Champion with the Polish Junior. The following year, the universal player made ​​his debut in the senior team. In the season 2005/ 06 he won with his new club Skra Belchatow the national league and cup double. He then reached the final of the World Cup Poland 2006. Following this success Winiarski played in the Italian League with Itas Diatec Trentino and in 2008 was Italian champion. With the national team he reached at the Olympic Games in Beijing in the quarter-finals and thus to fifth place. 2009 Trentino was with Winiarski runner-up and won the Champions League. At the European Championship of Universal player won with the team the title. Then he returned to Belchatow. The club was Polish champion 2010 and a year later scored the double. With the national Winiarski was third in the 2011 World League and at the European Championships and came second in the World Cup. In 2012 he won the trophy again in Belchatow, but missed in the league and in the Champions League just under the title. The Poles won the 2012 World League. In London Winiarski experienced his second Olympic tournament.
