Michele Benedetti (diver)

Michele Benedetti ( born December 17, 1984 in Parma ) is an Italian diver. It starts in the arts and diving as well as in the 3-meter and 10-meter synchronized diving.

Benedetti won the bronze medal in the 10m synchronized diving at the 2006 European Championship in Budapest together with Francesco dell'Uomo. It was his first international medal. At the European Championships 2009 in Turin he won bronze of the 3 m board.

He participated in the 2005 World Championships in part in Montreal and 2007 in Melbourne, finishing each in the 10m synchro competition in sixth or seventh place. At the 2012 Olympic Games in London from 3 m board he resigned as 20th in the preliminaries.

Benedetti is a sports soldier in the Navy.
