Michele Mitchell

Michele Mitchell ( born January 10, 1962 in Phoenix, Arizona) is a former American Water Diving. She participated in two Olympic Games, winning two silver medals.

Career

Michele Mitchell studied at the University of Arizona. She participated in Los Angeles at the 1984 Summer Olympics. In the competition from the diving tower Mitchell won the silver medal behind the Chinese Zhou Jihong. In 1987, she competed at the Pan American Games in Indianapolis. There she won the gold medal from the ten-meter tower. In Seoul, at the Summer Olympics in 1988, Michele Mitchell started again in competition from the diving tower. As four years before she won Olympic silver. This time lay before her only the Chinese Xu Yanmei.
