Michelle Larcher de Brito

Micaela Larcher de Brito, also known as Michelle Larcher de Brito (born 29 January 1993 at Lisbon ) is a Portuguese tennis player.

Life

At the age of nine years Larcher de Brito emigrated with her family to the United States, where she was trained by the end of 2007 by Nick Bolletieri. Her father is Portuguese António, he was born in Angola; her mother is from South Africa. Micaela has two older brothers, the twins Sebastião and Sergio. In 2008, she was from the Fundação Luso - Brasileira ( Portuguese- Brazilian Foundation) awarded the title of Revelation.

Career

Micaela Larcher de Brito began at the age of three years, to play tennis, as her father, who she still trained and cared for, she took in a club in Lisbon. A stir she made in 2009, when they reached the age of 16 years as a qualifier the third round of the French Open. In Wimbledon 2013 she could also advance into round three.

In many blows Larcher de Brito moans very loud and long lasting. Measurements at the French Open in 2009 resulted in a volume of up to 109 decibels. So it was at the time the loudest " Stöhnerin " in professional tennis before Maria Sharapova (101 decibels).
