Miguel Ángel Martín Perdiguero

Miguel Ángel Martín Perdiguero ( born October 14, 1972 in San Sebastián de los Reyes ) is a retired Spanish road bicycle racer.

Martín Perdiguero began his professional career in 1997 at the Spanish cycling team Kelme, where he drove before it ONCE to two years changed. His first victory he celebrated in 1999 at the Burgos - tour with a stage victory. A year later he won the Gran Premio Miguel Indurain. In the following years he won many stages with smaller Spanish tours, such as at the Vuelta a La Rioja, the Clasica Alcobendas, the Asturias tour, the Catalan Week, the Euskal Bizikleta, the Valencia tour and at the Vuelta a Castilla y León.

2004 moved Martín Perdiguero to Saunier Duval and had its most successful year. After he decided in the spring of three stages and the overall classification of the Tour of Catalonia itself, the man from Madrid triumphed in the Basque -day race Clasica San Sebastian. Since 2005, he runs for the Swiss ProTour team Phonak. After the doping scandal involving Floyd Landis at the Tour de France 2006, in which he gave up even after the 17th stage, he finished his career.
