The administrative community Hainich Werra is an administrative community in the Wartburg district of Thuringia, based in Creuzburg. The management community has ten municipalities and one city.

History

In the administrative community in 1993, seven municipalities have joined forces to fulfill their administrative business. In 1997 joined the community Bischofroda. By 2014, it was called the Community Management Mihla and had its administrative headquarters in Berka vor dem Hainich.

With the announcement of the resignation of the chairman of the joint management Creuzburg 30 June 2012, negotiations on a resolution of the VG Creuzburg and the fastest possible accession of the three member municipalities Creuzburg, Ifta and Krauthausen have been taken to manage Community Mihla. After the merger of the administrative communities was included in the planned Thuringian law for voluntary reorganization circle, national communities in 2013, were the communities Ifta, Creuzburg and Krauthausen VG Mihla at 31 December 2013, the VG Creuzburg was dissolved ..

On February 1, 2014 voted on a new name of the administrative community. The choice was between " Creuzburg - Mihla " and " Hainich Werra ". It was decided that the administrative community in the future " Hainich Werra " means. In addition Creuzburg has been unanimously elected as the administrative headquarters.
