Miklós Küzmics
Miklós Küzmics (also: Miklos Küzmič, Nicholas Küzmitsch; born September 15, 1737 Dolnji Slaveči, † April 11, 1804 in Kančevci ) was a Slovene translator and a Catholic priest in Hungary. Küzmics the dean of Übermurgebiets and Vendvidék ) and teaching inspector of belonging to Slovenian Propstum schools was ( Miklós Küzmics is only a namesake of István Küzmics and not a relative ). For the Hungarian Slovenes Miklós Küzmics had authored the first bilingual school book: ABC knizsica na narodni haszek soul, which he translated from German into Hungarian and Slovene. This booklet, which contained the first Slovenian- Hungarian dictionary, published in 1790 in Buda. In 1804 he published his translation of the Gospel in the Slovene language ( Prekmurisch ).
