Miłaki

Milaki ( German Müngen ) is a village in Poland, in the powiat Braniewski ( circle brown mountain ) of Warmia and Mazury.

Geographical location

Milaki located in East Prussia on a side street of the Polish province road 510 ( former German Empire Road 126) from the Russian- Polish border ( to 1945 starting in Ludwigsort (Russian: Laduschkin ) about Zinten ( Kornewo )) at Głębock ( Tiefensee ) to Pieniężno ( flour sack) leads, which branches in Lelkowo. This street connects Żelazna Góra ( Eisenberg ) in the west with Górowo Iławeckie ( Landsberg in East Prussia ) to the east. History

Milaki was first documented as " Mungkhen " in 1498, as " Jacob Perbandt got overwritten hereditary in the area of Müngen 15 ½ hooves ". Since 1945 Müngen under the name Milaki Polish and incorporated in the powiat Braniewski in the Warmia and Mazury (until 1998 Elbląg Voivodeship 1975). The village had 40 inhabitants in 2007.

Church

Attractions
